Frequently

Asked Questions

1) Can anyone book a private session?

Yes! There is no application process. Anyone aged 19 and over can book a private session.

2) Should I book a 30 minute session or a 1 hour session?

That’s up to you! For your first time, we recommend booking a 1 hour session to give time to clarify your goal(s), especially for in-depth requests. For follow-up and mentorship we recommend booking a series of 30 min sessions.

3) What if I need to reschedule a booked appointment?

I understand that life circumstances may arise after booking your appointment. I will work with you to reschedule, applying the full booking fee, given at least 24 h notice.

3) Are you a Licenced Medical Practitioner?

I am not a medical doctor and do not diagnose or treat disease, nor make recommendations regarding medical treatment or medications. The self-care practices I teach are rooted in evidence based mindfulness meditation and ancient Chinese theory and practice, which is also used as the basis for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong and can be considered complementary to medical care. I am certified by the Master Sha Tao Academy (taoacademy.com) and I hold professional liability insurance.
